On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted members of Wellington Point Seniors visiting Government House for morning tea and a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, Brisbane, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.

Following, the Governor departed Brisbane for an official visit to Toowoomba.

In the evening, at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), Toowoomba, the Governor attended a reception celebrating the 10th anniversary of the USQ School of Law and Justice where His Excellency addressed guests, before returning to Brisbane.
