On Monday, in the morning, at Anzac Square, Brisbane City, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Returned Service League Queensland 2019 Remembrance Day Ceremony and laid the first wreath.

Following, at the Kedron Park Emergency Services Complex, Kedron, His Excellency visited the State Operations Centre and received a briefing from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services on the current bushfire situation.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea for Girl Guides Queensland to celebrate their centenary year, and the Governor addressed guests.
