On Thursday, in the morning, at the Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law, Brisbane, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the welcome ceremony for His Honour Judge Michael Williamson QC and His Honour Judge Nathan Jarro.

Following, at Government House, the Governor welcomed members of the Bribie Island National Seniors Association visiting for morning tea and a guided tour.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey departed Government House for official travel to the Gold Coast.

In the evening, at the Broadbeach Bowls Club, Broadbeach, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the medal matches of the Commonwealth Games Lawn Bowls Women’s Triples and final matches of the Men’s Fours.
