On Wednesday, in the morning, at Boulder Opal Motor Inn, Winton, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC undertook, via telephone, a media interview with Breakfast Presenter, ABC Western Queensland, Mr Dan Prosser.

Following, at Longreach, His Excellency visited Longreach State School, and the Governor addressed students and guests and read a book. 

Following, at Longreach Regional Council, Longreach, His Excellency received a briefing from Longreach Regional Council representatives.

Following, at the Qantas Founders’ Museum, Longreach, His Excellency attended a morning tea and presented Ambassador badges. 

Following, at Longreach, His Excellency toured the Qantas Founders’ Museum.

In the afternoon, at the Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame and Outback Heritage Centre, Longreach, His Excellency hosted a community afternoon tea, and the Governor addressed guests. 

In the afternoon, His Excellency returned to Government House following official travel to Birdsville, Winton and Longreach.
