On Monday, in the morning, at Queensland Academy of Science Mathematics and Technology (QASMT) Toowong, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM visited and toured the school for National Science Week, and the Governor addressed guests.  

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a reception in support of the 2024 Royal Queensland Show, and the Governor addressed guests. 

In the evening, at Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland's EkkaNITES.
