On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.  

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency received Judge of the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of Queensland, The Honourable Justice Jean Dalton. 

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Reception to celebrate Christmas, and the Governor addressed guests.
