In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception in support of drought affected Queenslanders.  Earlier in the afternoon, Mr Rick and Mrs Patricia Gurnett of Charleville arrived to Government House, in anticipation of the reception.
