On Sunday, in the morning, at Brisbane Airport, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs de Jersey attended the official opening of Brisbane Airport’s new runway, and the Governor was joined by the following dignitaries in cutting the ribbon: representing the Prime Minister of Australia, Deputy Prime Minister of Australia and Minister for Infrastructure and Minister for Transport and Regional Development, the Honourable Michael McCormack MP; Premier of Queensland and Minister for Trade, the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP; the Right Honourable, the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Councillor Adrian Schrinner; Chair, Brisbane Airport Corporation, Mr David Peever; and CEO, Brisbane Airport Corporation, Mr Gert-Jan de Graaff.
