In the morning, at the Executive Building, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. 

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted at dinner former long-serving judge of the Supreme Court of Queensland, Mr John Muir and Mrs Sandra Muir.
