On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC signed a message recommending a Bill to the Legislative Assembly.

Also in the morning, at Government House, the Governor greeted students from the Cedar Creek State School who were visiting for a morning tea and guided tour of the House and Gardens.

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, His Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a reception in support of the Queensland Council of Social Service.
