On Monday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey, hosted a reception for Queensland school students attending the 2016 National Youth Science Forum.

In the evening, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Governor, as Patron, attended the Life Sciences Queensland Globally Engaging Networking Event, addressed guests and presented the McCullough Robertson Life Sciences Queensland Industry Excellence Award to Associate Professor Dimity Dornan AO, founder of Hear and Say.
