On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.  

Following, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey received His Excellency Mr Christophe Penot, Ambassador of France to Australia and Mrs Yukimi Saito, and Lady Edwards AM, Honorary Consul, Consulate of France.
