In the morning, at New Farm Park, New Farm, Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended a commemorative rose planting ceremony to mark the occasion of the Centenary of the Australian Red Cross.

In the afternoon, at the Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs de Jersey visited the Royal Queensland Show – the EKKA.
