On Friday, in the morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of a Bill for Assent for Making Queensland Safer Bill 2024. 

Following, In the evening, at Government House, members of the public visited to view the 2024 Government House Christmas Lights display.

Following, at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the opening night of the Queensland Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker.
