On Tuesday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted members of the RSL (Qld) State Council of Auxiliaries visiting Government House for a guided tour.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey received the Premier of Queensland and Minister for Trade, the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP; Mr Robbie Katter, Member for Traeger; Members of the Queensland Executive Council; Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland, the Honourable Curtis Pitt MP; other members of the 56th Queensland Parliament; Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie; Acting Sergeant-at-Arms, Ms Lyn Tavendar; and guests of the Speaker for the formal presentation of the Speaker to the Governor.
