On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency received the Deputy Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Michael Ries, for the presentation of two Bills for Assent.

In the evening, at QPAC, South Brisbane, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Queensland Theatre's opening night performance of 'Emerald City'.
