On Monday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received via telephone conference, Mount Isa City Council, Mayor, Councillor Danielle Slade.

 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a luncheon to celebrate Commonwealth Day, and the Governor addressed guests.   Guests included The Honourable Gary Hardgrave; Mr Richard Cowin MBE; Mr Jimmy Ovia; Mr Anton Swan OAM; Mrs Archana Singh; Mrs Sandra Micallef; Mr Roger Bagley CVO PSM; Lieutenant Colonel Guy Bagot LVO; Ms Cecily Pearson MVO OAM; Mr Ross Sue See MVO; Mrs Monica Farrow RVM; Dr Denver Beanland AM; Ms Lynne Foley OAM; Mr Michael Halliday; Dr Nelson Quinn; Mr William Willcocks and Mrs Kate Hastings and Ms Yolande Yorke.
