On Wednesday, in the morning, at Customs House, Brisbane, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the 2024 Queensland AgriFutures Rural Women's Award, and the Governor addressed guests and presented an award. 

Following, at Government House, members of TAFE Queensland visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency received Regional Manager Queensland, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, Qantas Airways Limited, Mr Anthony Penney. 

Following, at Government House, members of The Brisbane Ionian Club visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the evening, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Opening Night performance of Circa’s 'What Will Have Been'.
