On Saturday, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey greeted members of the public visiting for guided tours of the House as part of Brisbane Open House.

In the afternoon, at Petrie Terrace State School, Paddington, His Excellency attended the Petrie Terrace State School 150th Anniversary Celebration, and the Governor addressed guests.
