On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey signed a message of condolence to the Royal Family following the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Following, at Government House, His Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.
Following, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey received the Archbishop of Brisbane, His Grace the Most Reverend Dr Phillip Aspinall to sign a message of condolence to the Royal Family following the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Following, at Government House, His Excellency received President of the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of Queensland, the Honourable Justice Walter Sofronoff to sign a message of condolence to the Royal Family following the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Following, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted a luncheon for Queensland Media Representatives and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Ms Cathy Border, Mrs Laura Chalmers, Mr Robert MacDonald, Mrs Tiffany McKinnon, Mr Hedley Thomas, Mr Garry Youngberry, Mrs Kate Hastings, Ms Yolande York, and Mr Chris Piggott-McKellar.
