On Thursday, in the morning, at Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Bardon, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Queensland Council of Garden Clubs Presidents’ Morning Tea where the Professor presented a certificate of patronage and addressed guests.  

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and Gardens. 

Following, at Government House, via teleconference, Her Excellency presided at a special meeting of Executive Council.  

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency received Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Queensland, the Honourable Chief Justice Helen Bowskill.
