On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Morning Tea in support of the 50th Anniversary of the Australian Honours and Awards, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Star Casino, Brisbane City, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Childhood Cancer Support's Hearts of Gold Gala 2025, and the Governor addressed guests.
