On Tuesday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC ceased duty as Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia and resumed duty as Governor of Queensland, and the Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes ceased duty as Acting Governor of Queensland.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a luncheon in support of philanthropy in Queensland. Guests included: Mr Philip Bacon AM; Mr Bob Bryan AM; Mr Peter Johnstone; Mrs Fiona Poschelk; Ms Cecily Person; and Ms Rosie Turnbull.

Following, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Michael Ries, Deputy Clerk of Parliament for the presentation of 5 bills for Assent.
