On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a morning tea to thank the Sisters of Mercy Brisbane for the loan of the portrait of Diamantina, Lady Bowen, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Parliament House, His Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted a dinner in support of regional Queensland.
