On Monday, in the afternoon, at the United Service Club, Spring Hill, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM attended the Royal Commonwealth Society’s Luncheon to commemorate Commonwealth Day 2022 and read the 2022 Commonwealth Day Message from Her Majesty The Queen.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency received Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland, the Honourable Curtis Pitt MP, accompanied by the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie and Sergeant-at-Arms, Mr Michael Watkin, for the presentation of two Appropriation Bills for Royal Assent.

Following, at All Hallows’ School, Brisbane City, Her Excellency attended the Finding Your Voice event and provided remarks.
