On Thursday, in the morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received the Shanghai Disease Control and Prevention Administration Delegation, led by Director General, and Deputy Director General of the Shanghai Health Commission, Mr ZHANG Hao and supported by Trade and Investment Queensland.

Following, at the Thomas Dixon Centre, West End, Her Excellency attended Queensland Ballet’s 2025 Season Launch Event, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency welcomed the Honourable David Crisafulli MP, Premier of Queensland and presided over a special meeting of the Executive Council. The Governor officiated at a formal ceremony where the Premier appointed 8 Assistant Ministers and then hosted a reception in honour of the Crisafulli Ministry.
