On Wednesday, in the morning, at Old Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the 2016 Rhodes Scholarship Shortlisting Meeting.

Following, the Governor greeted members of the Kenmore Evening VIEW Club visiting Government House for a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

In the evening, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner to farewell Commander, 1st Division, Australian Army, Major General Stuart Smith AO, DSC. Guests included: Major General the Honourable Peter Arnison AC, CVO (retd) and Mrs Barbara Arnison; Major General Stuart Smith AO, DSC and Mrs Karen Smith; Commander Peter Tedman DSM, OAM, ADC, RAN and Ms Lesley Dellit; Commissioner Ian Stewart APM and Mrs Carol Stewart; Colonel Kahlil Fegan DSC and Mrs Ilona Fegan; Mr Anthony Ralph OAM and Mrs Lindy Ralph; Ms Emma Smith and Captain Christopher Freeman; and Ms Cecily Pearson and Mr Trevor Farrell OAM.
