On Monday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Government House for official travel to Stanthorpe.

Following, in Stanthorpe, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing from Mayor, Southern Downs Region Council, Cr Tracy Dobie, and toured fire and drought affected areas of the region.

Following, at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism, Stanthorpe, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted a Community Morning Tea in support of those affected by the recent bushfires and ongoing drought, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey returned to Government House following official travel to Stanthorpe.
