On Friday, in the morning, at The Star Gold Coast, Broadbeach, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the launch of the 2018 Gold Coast Open House program, and the Governor officially opened the program and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted a luncheon in recognition of outstanding Queensland contributors.
