On Monday, in the morning, at Barcaldine Council Chambers, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received a briefing from Barcaldine Regional Council representatives and met with staff.

Following, at Barcaldine, Her Excellency visited the Barcaldine War Memorial Clock, and laid a wreath.

Following, at Barcaldine Hospital and Multipurpose Health Service, Her Excellency received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff and patients. 

Following, at the Barcaldine Town Hall, Her Excellency attended the Barcaldine Regional Council Community Reception, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, Her Excellency departed Barcaldine Regional Council for Official Travel to Cloncurry Shire Council.

In the afternoon, at Cloncurry, Her Excellency received a briefing from Mayor, Cloncurry Regional Council, Councilor Gregory Campbell.

Following, at Chinaman Creek Dam, Cloncurry, Her Excellency received a briefing on recent vitalisation works by Council.

Following, at Cloncurry Health Services, Her Excellency received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff and patients.
