On Tuesday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for official travel to Kilkivan, Booubyjan, Goomeri and Gympie.

Following, in the morning, at Kilkivan, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a tour of Council Chambers and a driving tour of the area from Gympie Regional Council Mayor, Councillor Glen Hartwig and visited a flood affected property.

In the afternoon, at Booubyjan, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a Barbeque Lunch in support of the Booubyjan community, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, in the Afternoon, at Goomeri, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended an Afternoon Tea in support of the Goomeri community, and the Governor addressed guests.
