On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland, and then addressed a group of Brisbane-based home-schooled students visiting Parliament House.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a reception to thank major supporters of the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute where His Excellency addressed guests.
