On Friday, in the morning, at Parliament House, Brisbane City, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the Queensland Overseas Foundation Award Ceremony, and the Governor presented awards, and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception in support of Voices of Birralee, and the Governor addressed guests.
