In the morning, at the Ipswich Showgrounds, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the 142nd Ipswich Annual Show, where the Governor addressed guests and officially opened the Show.

In the evening, at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha, the Governor attended the 2015 Brisbane Sculpture Festival, where the Governor addressed guests and officially opened the Festival and presented awards, including the Shillam Award.

Following, at Parliament House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended a dinner and an oration in honour of His Grace, the Most Reverend Mark Coleridge DD BA DSS, Archbishop of Brisbane, hosted by The Order of Malta, in aid of the Coats for the Homeless and Caritas Nepal Earthquake Appeal.
