On Tuesday, in the morning, at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC officially opened the 2016 Joint Annual Scientific Meeting of the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia and the ANZ Breast Cancer Trials Group.
In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a luncheon in honour of Queensland visual artists. Guests included: Dr Rhyl Hinwood AM; Miss Chern'ee Sutton; Mr Michael Zavros; Mr Leonard Brown; Ms June Tupicoff; Mr Kenji Uranishi; Ms Monica Rohan; Mr John Honeywill; Mr Robert Brownhall; and Ms Cecily Pearson.
In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a reception in support of Diabetes Queensland where His Excellency presented ‘Angel’ Awards and addressed guests.
