On Friday, in the morning, at South Bank Piazza, South Brisbane, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Wavell State High School Year 12 Graduation Ceremony, and the Governor addressed guests.   

In the evening, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Queensland Symphony Orchestra's performance of 'Umberto & Natsuko'.
