On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Australian Red Cross Queensland Patron, Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an awards ceremony for Australian Red Cross Queensland recipients of the National Emergency Medal.

Following, at Parliament House, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Brisbane for Regional Government House operations, Cairns, Far North Queensland.
