On Saturday, in the morning, at the RAAF Base, Townsville, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received a briefing from officers and then undertook a RAAF Hawk 127 Lead-In Fighter Flight.

In the afternoon, at the RAAF Base, Townsville, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Townsville 150 Defence Air Show.
