On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted Tullawong State School students and staff visiting Government House for morning tea, a guided tour of the House and Gardens and to see ‘Kurrajongi’, the School’s winning entry in ‘The Ekka Scarecrow Competition’ currently on display at Fernberg.

Following, the Governor greeted members of the Probus Association Gold Coast and Northern Rivers visiting Government House for morning tea and a guided tour of the House and Gardens.           

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, Brisbane, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception in support of the 150th anniversary of Australian Football in Queensland where His Excellency addressed guests.
