On Saturday, in the morning, at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, Manly, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the opening of the 134th Sailing Season, and the Governor officiated, unveiled a plaque and addressed guests.

In the evening, at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Bank, His Excellency attended a Brisbane Festival performance of Symphony For Me.
