On Thursday from 8am until 4pm Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo greeted members of the public as they signed messages of condolence and laid floral tributes. State Leaders and dignitaries continued to call at Government House to sign messages of condolence on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

 

In the morning, at 1 William Street, Brisbane, Her Excellency presided at a meeting of Executive Council.

 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie for the presentation of a Bill, the Holidays and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022, to which the Governor granted Assent.
