In the morning, at the Executive Building, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. 

In the evening, at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, the Governor attended the opening night performance of Queensland Theatre Company’s ‘Brisbane’, and then attended the post-performance reception at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
