On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a morning tea for St John Ambulance Australia Queensland, and the Governor addressed guests and presented awards.
In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency received the Premier of Queensland and Minister for Trade, the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP to sign a message of condolence to the Royal Family following the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

In the evening, at the Queensland Club, Brisbane City, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the 2021 Queensland Club Governor’s Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
