On Tuesday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM departed Cloncurry Shire Council for Official Travel to McKinlay Shire Council.

Following, at McKinlay Shire Council Building, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received a briefing from McKinlay Shire Council representatives and met with staff.

Following, at Government House, students from Robertson State School visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

Following, at Burke Street, Julia Creek, Her Excellency visited the Julia Creek Retail Area and met local business owners and members of the community.

Following, at Julia Creek State School, Her Excellency visited and toured the school, and read a book to students.

Following, at Julia Creek Hospital and the McKinlay Shire Multipurpose Health Service, Her Excellency received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff and patients. 

In the afternoon, at Corrina’s Café and Bakery, Julia Creek, Her Excellency received Mayor, McKinlay Shire Council, Councillor Janene Fegan for a working lunch.

Following, at Julia Creek Visitor Information Centre, Her Excellency visited the facility and met with staff.

Following, Her Excellency returned to Government House from Official Travel to McKinlay Shire Council.
