On Friday, in the morning Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for Official Travel to Toowoomba Regional Council.

 

In the afternoon, at Nobby State School, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo visited the school, read a book and the Governor addressed students and teachers.

 

Following, at Sister Kenny Museum, Nobby, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the unveiling of the Polio Timeline and the Governor addressed guests and unveiled the timeline.

 

Following at Millmerran Hospital, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff. 

 

In the evening, at Queensland Museum Cobb+Co, Toowoomba, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the ‘Cobb 100: Celebrating the Centenary of Cobb & Co.'s Final Journey’ and the Governor addressed guests.
