On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM received the 22nd Governor of Queensland, the Honourable Leneen Forde AC.

Following, at the Old Museum, Bowen Hills, Her Excellency attended the Queensland Program of Assistance to Survivors or Torture and Trauma's (QPASTT) 25 Years Celebrations, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency attended the Opening Night of Queensland Ballet's 'The Nutcracker'.
