On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey received Ms Elsa Dallesio, Regional Manager Queensland, Qantas Airways Limited.

Following, the Governor greeted members of the Probus Club of Ithaca visiting Government House for morning tea and guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, Brisbane, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council and then met Labrador State School students visiting Parliament House.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a dinner to farewell Commander Peter Tedman DSM OAM RAN. Guests included: Commander Peter Tedman DSM OAM RAN; Commissioner Ian Stewart APM & Mrs Carol Stewart; Captain Andrew Craig RAN (Retd) & Mrs Susie Craig; Captain Nick Woodley RAN (Retd) & Mrs Bianca Woodley; Lieutenant Commander Craig Flynn & Mrs Naomi Flynn; Mr Terry Oxley & Mrs Jenny Oxley; Mrs Julie Wareing; Mr Neville Scott & Ms Nicole Cottrell; Mr Dean Crawford & Mrs Irene Crawford; and Ms Cecily Pearson & Mr Trevor Farrell OAM.
