On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO signed a Message for a Bill.

Following, His Excellency greeted members of Flexi Care Inc. visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner in recognition of outstanding Queensland contributors, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: the Honourable Leeanne Enoch MP; the Honourable Justice Frances Williams; the Honourable Glen Williams AO QC and Mrs Roberta Williams; Ms Emily Cox AM and Mr Christopher Wrench; Mr Wesley Enoch AM and Mrs Lyn Enoch; Mr Trevor Beckingham OAM and Mrs Jean Beckingham; Ms Justine Hickey and Mr Nigel Emslie; Mr Chris Leadbetter and Mrs Pam Leadbetter; Mr Iain Marshall and Mrs Loretta Marshall; Mr David Phipps and Mrs Denise Phipps; Mrs Wendy Taylor; and Mrs Kate Hastings.
