On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, members of the Jane Austin Society of Australia (Brisbane) toured the estate on a guided tour.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD returned from Official Travel to Melbourne, and Her Excellency signed the proclamation to resume duties as Governor of Queensland.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency presided at a meeting of Executive Council via teleconference.
