On Thursday, in the morning, at the University of Oxford, Oxford, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, as Chairman, Rhodes Scholarship Queensland Selection Committee, and Mrs Kaye de Jersey, met Australian Rhodes Scholars.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire. 

Also on Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, Brisbane, the Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes, Acting Governor of Queensland, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.
